Austin is the capital city of the state of Texas. In Guitar Hero II, the city hosts the Vans Warped Tour (which was remade into "Rock for Safety Tour" in Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s), which is theme for the "Relentless Riffs" set in both games.
