Backstage with Guitar Hero is a Game Space for PlayStation 3's virtual 3D social gaming platform PlayStation Home, developed by Neversoft and published by Activision on March 26, 2009,[1][2] three days before the release of Guitar Hero: Metallica.
Backstage with Guitar Hero gives Guitar Hero players around the world "VIP" access to a themed backstage lounge and a massive concert venue where they can group up, communicate, do activities, and view trailers for upcoming titles.
However, Backstage with Guitar Hero, as well as PlayStation Home for PlayStation 3 in general, were shut down on March 31, 2015,[3][4] but PlayStation Home fans developed a preservation project for PlayStation Home called "Destination Home".[5]
