Achievements and trophies can be earned either online or offline. When online, Xbox 360 and Xbox One achievements will be submitted to Xbox Network (formerly known as Xbox Live), and PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 trophies will be submitted to PlayStation Network. If earned offline, they'll be submitted online the next time the player goes online.

RetroAchievements[]

These games received unofficial online achievement support through the RetroAchievements online service, and more games and regions may be implemented over time. Achievements can only be unlocked in certain video game emulators that support the RetroAchievements service and specific version(s) of the game are linked in RetroAchievements. The user must also have an active Internet connection to unlock achievements or achievements will be missed.
