Compilation Disc: DJ Hero / Band Hero / Guitar Hero 5 / Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits is a compiled demo disc for Xbox 360 featuring the demo versions and game trailers of upcoming "Hero" titles including DJ Hero, Guitar Hero 5, and Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits (known as Guitar Hero: Smash Hits in North America), as well as the game trailer for Band Hero on console. It was available as a promotional bonus for consumers that pre-ordered the Italian version of Guitar Hero: Metallica, but it uses trailers and artwork from the North American versions.

• "Another One Bites the Dust/Da Funk" by Queen/Daft Punk (in the tutorial at the Tutorial Apartment/DJ Room)
• "I Heard It Through the Grapevine/Feel Good Inc." by Marvin Gaye/Gorillaz
• "Hollaback Girl/Give It to Me" by Gwen Stefani/Rick James
• "Boom Boom Pow/Satisfaction" by Black Eyed Peas/Benny Bennasi

Other than "Another One Bites the Dust"/"Da Funk" that is a tutorial that takes place at Tutorial Apartment/DJ Room, the next three songs are in the single player setlist, taking place in the Logic venue, and "Monkey Wrench"/"Sabotage" is compatible with Guitar controllers and the DJ Hero Wireless Turntable Controller.
