"Detonation" is a song made by Trivium for the album The Crusade in 2006. The song was released as DLC for the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero II.
It is one of the hardest songs in the game because of its fast tempo that increase before the solo. The solo is one of the hardest in the game, but it's short length (less than 5 seconds) and difficulty make it a deceptive challenge. It is similar in difficulty to "Because, It's Midnite" from Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks The 80s. There is a later solo which is less difficult but still deceptive.
