- Rumors and possibilities about the Guitar Hero series being revived for the second time? "Ahead of Xbox's acquisition, Activision's Bobby Kotick discussed Microsoft, Elon Musk's Neuralink, and hinted at a Guitar Hero revival in this leaked interview", read the article on Windows Central for details.

- Dark Mode is now optimized on the WikiHero for the most part. You should no longer get blinded by the unreadable bright tables and table headers when enabling Dark Mode on the wiki. To enter Dark Mode, click the crescent moon button.
- 4th February 2023
- WikiHero's homepage received a redesign, displaying game arts for every Guitar Hero game officially released. Setlist pages have been moved to subpages of their respective pages and new subpages were made for games that can be accessed through their tabs. And information about the Guitar Hero Mobile series has also been added over the months since late 2022 and is mostly completed.
- 11th November 2018
- Starting next week on December 1, 2018, GHTV mode in Guitar Hero Live will officially shut down and be discontinued.[1] This was announced back in June 2018 along with the removable of the iOS game on the iTunes App Store.

- Guitar Hero Live has been released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and iOS devices in North America and Australia. The European version will be released on October 23, 2015.

Featured article of the month
"Trippolette" is a song created by Andraleia 'Andi' Buch (a former Harmonix employee), credited as Andrew Buch, hidden within the game files of the first Guitar Hero video game and was later released on the Rock Band Network service for Rock Band video games. This song cannot be accessed in Guitar Hero by normal means but devices like GameShark and Action Replay can access this song and it is fully charted with a guitar version of the song.

- Cleaning up non-music-related articles.
- Slowly on-going.
- Creating articles for every known Guitar Hero game.
- Completed including mobile games by Q1 2023 and toys by Q2 2003...! Unless there are more obscure games/toys out there...
- Creating subpages for each video game article.
- Mostly completed except for Unlockables subpage of each game (guitars, characters, songs in in-game shops) and may need to replay Guitar Hero III: Backstage Pass multiple times.
- Maybe creating more articles of indie games inspired by Guitar Hero?
- This feels debatable... Should non-Guitar Hero titles (not counting Rock Band; visit the Rock Band Wiki for Rock Band content) be allowed to have their own wiki page on the Guitar Hero Wiki?
- But this wiki does allow articles for community projects. However, it is forbidden to post links to illegitimately download commercially-released content (songs or official games). Read the NoPiracy template's rules for what's allowed and disallowed on the WikiHero.
- Creating and cleaning up articles for every song and band article
- Very low priority but if anyone wants to assist in updating song articles, replace the infoboxes with the newer, universal Infobox GHsong template (old song infoboxes will be deleted if this is ever completed). See "Bark at the Moon", "Paranoid", "Through the Fire and Flames", and "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" for examples on how they appear with with multiple Infobox GHsong templates within the InfoboxTabber template.
If anyone is willing to assist in creating song pages or cleaning up messy pages, feel free to do so. English, please! There are still a lot that needs to be fixed or cleaned up on the WikiHero. Don't be afraid to hit that Edit button...
...Just don't vandalize articles, post or ask for illegal/pirated content (commercially-released songs or games), or you'll feel the wrath of the God of Rock striking his axe over your head! In other words, you'll likely get blocked from editing the wiki for a number of time or indefinitely.
