In addition to preserve the entirety of GHTV's song library, the unofficial GHTV Reloaded patch for Guitar Hero Live included new songs since its official launch of December 1, 2022 with more songs added over time.

New songs added[]

List of new songs that were added to GHTV Reloaded over time after its official release. Some songs will be released with all difficulties charted while others will have Expert difficulty charted first.[1]

In GHTV Reloaded V1, accessing an Expert-only song on a lower difficulty will result in playing the song with no notes throughout the entire song or until the player changes to Expert during song in the pause menu. GHTV Reloaded V2 plans on hiding all Expert-only songs from players that have their latest difficulty level set below Expert.

Nearly a month after the release of Fortnite Festival in December 9, 2023, GHTV Reloaded celebrated it in January 2024, featuring a new Festival highway inspired by it as well as several song releases from it including The Weeknd's "The Hills", "Save Your Tears", and "Take My Breath".[2]

April 8, 2024 was the final day Nintendo Network online service for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, which shut down at 5pm PDT that day, making GHTV Reloaded no longer playable on Wii U[3] until a third-party online service for Wii U (such as Pretendo) supports third-party game servers such as GHTV Reloaded.

However, the developers were developing a new, updated mod tool for GHTV Reloaded called GHTVR PyTools, which replaces the Guitar Hero: Mod Tools and Discord bot commands, which was released on October 20, 2024, the 9th year anniversary date of Guitar Hero Live. New songs have been added to GHTV Reloaded again.
