
Glu Mobile LLC is an American mobile game developer and publisher established in San Francisco, California in 2004. Glu offers products to multiple platforms including J2ME, Android, Windows Phone, Google Chrome, and Amazon.[1] It was previously listed on Nasdaq before it was acquired by Electronic Arts in April 2021.
Glu Mobile is the second developer and second publisher involved in the development of the Guitar Hero Mobile games after MachineWorks Northwest and Hands-On Mobile respectively. Glu Mobile developed and published Guitar Hero 5 Mobile while Hands-On Mobile was working on Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile: Backstage Pass. Glu Mobile also developed DJ Hero Mobile and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Mobile, the latest entry of the Guitar Hero Mobile series.
