The Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Wireless Guitar Controller[1] is a wireless guitar controller bundled in the guitar bundle and the super bundle of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii. It has a unique body design compared to other guitar controllers, not based on a real guitar, in that there are openings in the body of the guitar. This new body design allows users to grip and carry the guitar controller from its handle-like body edges.
Cosmetics aside, one major controller that was removed from this controller that started in the Guitar Hero World Tour Wireless Guitar Controller was the slider bar, despite Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock still supporting the feature in-game.
Appearance[]
The Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Wireless Guitar Controller is black with silver-colored guards alongside the strum bar. This controller is known for having four openings in the body of the guitar with the edges being grip-able, allowing users to carry the guitar controller from any edge of the body. A rare "battle axe" variation of the guitar controller was also released for a limited amount of time that have silver blades on the sides of the body.
The Star Power button is a bar located right below the strum bar just like the Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero 5 guitar controllers, allowing easy access to activate Star Power with the palm of the hand. Two small Start/▸ buttons are located to the sides of the Star Power button just like those guitar controllers. The L is located at the bottom of the body.
For the Wii version, instead of the Wii Remote slot being places among the body of the guitar, the Wii Remote slot is located between the neck and body of the guitar where the slide bar would originally be located.
