In Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, cheat codes are activated by pressing the corresponding buttons in the main menu just like in Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II. There are combinations of buttons you can tap in from the Yellow Fret to Orange Fret, but for the "Unlock Everything" cheat, the Red Fret is also involved.

Air Guitar	Y→B→Y→O→B→B Your rocker's guitar will become invisible.
Eyeball Head Crowd	Y→B→O→O→O→B→Y The crowd will have a giant eyeball as their heads.
Flame Head	Y→O→Y→O→Y→O→B→O Your rocker's head will be on fire.
Horse Head	B→O→O→B→Y→B→O→O→B→Y Your rocker's head will be a horse.
Hyperspeed	Y→B→O→O→B→Y→Y→O Stretches and increases the scrolling speed of the highway and notes by 1.5x.
Monkey Head Crowd	B→B→O→Y→B→B→O→Y The crowd will have ape heads.
Performance Mode	B→B→O→Y→Y→B→O→B Makes the highway and heads-up displays (HUDs) invisible, revealing only the stage. This cheat makes the game harder to play, in which you will have to guess notes at the right time by memory and you can't see how well you're performing.
Unlock Everything	B→O→Y→R→O→Y→B→Y→R→Y→B→Y→R→Y→B→Y Unlocks all characters, items, and Quickplay songs in the game. This cheat disables game save.
