Guitar Hero VIP Pass was a free, non-gaming app developed by Steve Studios that catalogs downloadable content for Guitar Hero World Tour and newer titles. It was submitted to the Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360 on December 15, 2009[3] and became available to the public on December 22, 2009[1][2] when Guitar Hero: Van Halen officially released to the public.
This Xbox 360 app is no longer available in the Xbox Live Marketplace after online servers for the Guitar Hero series shutdown on April 1, 2014 and it can no longer be browsed.[4]
Description[]
Guitar Hero VIP Pass acted as a marketplace that cataloged downloadable songs for Guitar Hero World Tour, Guitar Hero 5/Band Hero, and later Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock without having to browse through the Xbox Live Marketplace for downloadable content of these titles. Players could purchase songs and song packs from the Xbox Live Marketplace with this app.
Music in the catalog can be filtered by re-releases, songs, song packs, and albums, and can also be sorted by artist, song title, etc. Each song in VIP Pass also displays their price (formerly in Microsoft Points until late 2013[5]), album art, year release, genre, and intensity ratings for each instrument (Drums, Guitar, Bass, Vocals, as well as the overall Band intensity that weren't shown within the games) in meters.

In case you didn't know, when you add the title of a book, film, album, magazine, or TV series to an article, it should be italicized by adding two single apostrophes on either side ('' ''). Titles of television episodes, short stories and songs should be placed within quotation marks. More detail can be found in the Wikipedia Manual of Style.
