The Guitar Hero Wireless Kramer Striker Controller[1] is a wireless guitar controller packaged with the PlayStation 2 wireless bundle of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

The bundle also includes a wireless receiver that is plugged into the PlayStation 2 console as normal is synchronized with the guitar. The guitar itself has an on/off sliding switch, which is often overlooked at the end of the playing session, and has no auto-off. a red light can be seen flashing in the vicinity of this switch when any action is performed on guitar. This guitar started the trend for having a detachable neck and separating the neck and body. Because of the fact that many units were still sold, this is the most common guitar to find, even over the Les Paul.

Reception[]

The Wireless Kramer Striker is the least well-known of the Guitar Hero guitar controllers, because many players on the PlayStation 2 simply chose to use their old wired Guitar Hero SG Controllers. Not only that, but the PlayStation 2 version did not sell as well as its next-gen counterparts.
