Movin' Out is a song from Aerosmith's 1973 debut album. Steven Tyler has said that this was the first song they wrote as a band. Joe Perry played a guitar lick while sitting on a waterbed and Steven immediately wrote words to match. The song has been played live in concert by the band throughout their entire career, although not as frequently as most songs. It was featured on the live collection Classics Live II and has been performed in concert by the band as recently as the 2000s.
