GHMix, known as GHMix 2.0 in Guitar Hero 5, Band Hero, and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, is an advanced song-editing game mode within the Music Studio/GHStudio of Guitar Hero World Tour and newer Guitar Hero games for creating GHTunes tracks.
Tips & Tricks[]
- In GHMix 2.0, there is a way to incorporate extended sustains past other notes. For the extended sustained note to pass other notes, copy/cut the long note or long chord you want to use as an extended sustain and paste it behind notes that you want to play over the extended note. While this is playable in-game, the audio of the track won't extend/ring past other notes.
- It is also possible to chart "reversed extended sustains" (extended sustains starting on the right, or left in Lefty Flip). However, while these are visible during gameplay, notes to the left (right in Lefty Flip) of an extended sustain will not register and count as a mistake when an extended sustain on the right (left in Lefty Flip) is still held as the games were not programmed to be able to hit notes left (right in Lefty Flip) of an extended sustain.
