The Nintendo DS is the 2nd latest handheld console released by Nintendo. Originally released in 2004, Nintendo released a hardware update named the DS lite in 2006. The Guitar Hero On Tour series were the first Nintendo DS Guitar Hero games made followed by Band Hero. The "Drum Skin" and Microphone became available when Band Hero was released.
