Playing "Slow Ride" on Guitar in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on Expert difficulty in Practice mode.
Practice Mode (simply Practice) is a single-player game mode introduced in Guitar Hero II as an option in the Training menu alongside Tutorials that allows a player to practice songs.
While in Practice mode, the player can play and practice any instrument (including Bass and Rhythm in pre-Guitar Hero World Tour games) without a Rock Meter, making it impossible to fail songs in Practice mode, but high scores will not be saved nor will achievements be earned unless if practice mode-specified. Additionally, the player can play songs or section(s) of a song at a slower speed (normal speed, slow speed, slower speed, or slowest speed) to help the player play songs.
Also to note while practicing songs at a slower speed than normal speed, only the playable track and the drums track will be audibly playing in the background.
