Radio Futura was a Spanish rock/pop group in the 80s and 90s. It was founded in 1979, during la Movida Madrileña (a musical movement around Madrid). The main components of the band were the Auserón brothers (Santiago, vocals and guitar, and Luis, bass) and Enrique Sierra (lead guitar). The initial baterist, Carlos Solrac Velázquez, was replaced in 1985, as other two more were.

They are one of the most influential latin rock groups in History, considered as the best Spanish group in their years several times.

After splitting up, the fundamental founders of Radio Futura carried on with solo careers. For example, Santiago Auserón changed his artistic name to Juan Perro.
