Roberto Agustín Trujillo, better known as Robert Trujillo (born October 23, 1964, in Santa Monica, CA) is the bassist for the thrash metal band Metallica as of February 2003 for replacing previous bassist Jason Newsted (currently on Voivod). He is in Guitar Hero: Metallica because the current line-up is of who recorded the Death Magnetic album, and Trujillo played the bass tracks for that album.

- Metallica Rob: Rob's original outfit. He wears a Metallica singlet that has Metallica written on it and the Metallica Shirukin star. He also wears black shorts and black shoes with white socks.
- Zombie Rob: Rob wears the same clothes as he does in his original but light blue rotting skin, and his braids are replaced with chains.
- 80s Rob: Rob in his Suicidal Tendencies clothes.

- When unlocking the classic '80s costumes for Metallica, Rob wears his Suicidal Tendencies costume, since he wasn't in Metallica in the '80s.
- Despite playing bass for all the Metallica songs in the game, Rob only played bass for 4 of the songs in the base game setlist in real life.
- 1 of the 21 handpicked guest acts is War Inside My Head by Suicidal Tendencies which was picked by Rob.
