Ruby is a song written and recorded by the Kaiser Chiefs for their second album Yours Truly, Angry Mob (2007). It is by far their most popular song, having reached the top spot in the United Kingdom singles chart, and being the first single to crack the top 20 in the Billboard Modern Rock chart. The song is best known for its repeated chanting of the title in the chorus. A number of European football teams have taken this chant and made it their own, replacing "ruby" with the name of a player that rhymes with it.

Ruby is a fairly easy FC, but is notorious for its excessive use of 3-note chords on Expert. The end of the song is a common trip-up spot, where the chart makes the player switch between Y, O, GYR, and GR all in a matter of a 16th beat worth of space each.
