Take This Life is a song by In Flames. It is considered to be difficult by many due to the verses, which have a sequence of notes in a trill-ish pattern.
Walkthrough[]
The main verses contain a trill-ish sequence of notes, so establishing a strumming pattern while holding the lower note is advised. Since the higher notes are on the downbeat, it is easier to keep a rhythm by downstrumming on them (so you have to upstrum on the first note). The pre chorus is simple enough, only being a series of 2 note chords. The chorus by itself is simple enough, although transitioning into the chorus from the pre chorus may throw your strumming off. After the 2nd chorus are hammer ons and pull offs, which are relatively simple.
