The Forum is the first venue and first Career tier in Guitar Hero: Metallica for all instrumental Careers. It is an opening act featuring two easy Metallica songs on all Career setlists in Career.

At the start of Career, the game starts off by playing with "The Ecstasy of Gold"[n 1] by Ennio Morricone as the entrance music in the background as the Metallica band members Lars Ulrich (drummer), James Hetfield (vocalist and rhythm guitarist), Kirk Hammett (lead guitarist), and Robert Trujillo (bass guitarist) heads to the The Forum's stage, then the Guitar Hero: Metallica logo appears on screen with the crowd cheering on, and as Metallica appears on stage, the first song the player(s) play is "For Whom the Bell Tolls" (in any instrument or Band careers).
The following song, "The Unforgiven", is the encore song the player(s) play before going to the next venue.

- ↑ "The Ecstasy of Gold" (Italian: L'estasi dell'oro) is musical composition by Ennio Morricone, which was composed for the 1966 film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Metallica sometimes uses this track as the entrance music for their live performances. A symphonic cover was performed by the San Francisco Symphony at The Berkeley Community Theatre in April 21 and 22, 1999 and was included in Metallica's 1999 live album S&M, and 20 years later which was included Metallica's 2019 live album S&M2.
