The Nintendo Wii is the seventh-generation and latest home console released by Nintendo. The Wii is notable in that rather than using analog controllers for most games, such as its direct competitors, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the Wii uses a remote-shaped controller (referred to most often as the "WiiMote") to play games. For the Guitar Hero series, however, the Wii still uses a guitar controller exactly like those on other systems.

Critism
The Wii has been critised for having the same graphics as the PS2. Also there are some features featured on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that aren't on the Wii for example some downloadable content can't be used on the Wii. However despite the critism it has become the best selling console ever. However it's mainly directed to kids and moms.
