Xavier Stone is one of the characters from the Guitar Hero series. Over the course of the series, he has always been the only African-American character in the game. In the first game, his look seems inspired by 90's rock icon Lenny Kravitz, with multi-coloured dreadlocks à la George Clinton. With the release of Guitar Hero II, his look has regressed into a 70's era funk-rock persona, not unlike Sly Stone. By Guitar Hero III his look had regressed again, now being fashioned as a hippie rocker in the style of Jimi Hendrix. An alternate costume, however, is a homage to The Beatles's "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". He is an unlockable character in Guitar Hero II, costing $6,000, but can be played immediately in Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero III.His Guitar hero 1 and 2 versions look very different than his guitar hero 3 versions. His appearence in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is the same as Guitar Hero III. Xavier does not appear in Guitar Hero: World Tour, but can be add through the Rocker Creator.
